On August 25th-26th Snetterton Market Model Car Club are holding an Oval meeting (Practice on the Saturday - Races on the Sunday)
At this meeting on Sunday Snetterton will also be hosting the 5th round of the BRCA/RRCI/ASCAR RC Racing National series championship. * (Ascar RC Racing Rules apply!
- see Ascar RC Racing
RULES page  link here, or click in the MENU for details.)

The Race Meeting is open to both IC and Electric.
This type of racing has been done on this track before, and was a great success.
The meeting will consist of four, 5min heats and one final (20mins for the IC's)

There will be four main classes:-
1.) IC With Ascar Shell. -
*For Drivers competing in the BRCA/RRCI/Ascar RC Racing National series championship
2.) IC Without Ascar Shell
3.) Electric With Ascar Shell
4.) Electric Without Ascar Shell

NOTE: Each heat will only consist of 5-6 cars!
This is because of safety considerations, due to the speed the cars will reach, and to limit damage to the cars during any crashes.

For this reason we will need some volunteers to act as spotters on the rostrum (1- 2 per Heat). All you will have to do, is simply inform the drivers of a crash, saying at what corner or straight it is on.
This is done, because we found that when racing on the large Oval at Snetterton, you are at the next corner before you realize it, and have no time to check the corner for crashed cars yourself.(There will be 1 spotter per heat at least!)

You can book into the meeting through the Snetterton Market Model Car Club entries page.
Click Here (Please ensure you enter for the correct class)

You will still be able to book in on the day, but if you can enter by
E-Entry, it would be appreciated.
